It’s been said that the LGB don’t support the “T”, Gender Non-Confirming and Non-Binary individuals.
Tracee’s shared that STONEWALL 50 has been one of the most inspiring and transforming Stonewall celebrations that she’d participated in thus far.
She was moved by the diverse number of allies and supporters that braved the hot heat and humidity to march along side her has changed those perceptions, which has filled her heart with gratitude.
Tracee also said that her purpose for participating that afternoon marching to Piedmont Park was to remember and honor the trailblazers like Marsha (PAY IT NO MIND) Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Miss Major and all of the other Trans, Queer, Gender Non-Conforming, and allied people, whom have paved the pathway for us to live authentically in this Twenty First Century, also stating, “It’s now up to us to smooth out the road for the next generation.”
Tracee thanked Atlanta Pride Committee for organizing STONEWALL 50 MARCH & RALLY 2019 and acknowledged their intentions on illuminating Trans people were well received and very much appreciated.
