The June 8, 2022 training was specifically designed to give insight on the resiliency, true  history, challenges and victories that Trans, Gender Non=Conforming and Non-Binary people face everyday of our lives.

Tracee also provided resources that included books for youths and organizations that specifically serve Trans children here in Atlanta, which will further assist their staff with better serving the next generation that are in their care.

Tracee has recalled the moment during the training during questions and answers when she’d become emotionally moved after one of the providers asked if she should continue providing safe spaces for one of her youth whose parents struggled with their gender identity, and insisted that their child not play with any toys that were associated with girls.

Tracee struggled to compose herself long enough to respond to the moving questing, letting the provider know that no matter what, that child would always remember the childcare providers kindness, which goes a long way in a child’s mind.
