I’m currently serving a second three year term on the Atlanta Citizen Review Board and becoming an Appointed City Official.
It has been rewarding and I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge about the unique challenges and rewards that are associated with community policing.
Last night at our monthly board meeting(open to the public) I was surprised to have become the first recipient of the Ivory Lee Young Jr. Community Outreach Award.
Although not expected, I am grateful that my service to community is being acknowledged by my colleagues.
Hopefully, the pathway has been made a little smoother for the next Trans and Gender Non-Conforming person to also be appointed to serve our community. TUMFGU…
Great content! Super high-quality! Keep it up! 🙂
Thank you!
